Mission Farewell - (mom post)

Chandler's mission farewell was on March 22nd.  He spoke on the priesthood and his upcoming mission and the girls sang "I'll find you my friend."  Nana, Grandpa and aunt Dusti were able to come out for it and were a tremendous help in preparing food and helping get ready for the lunch after church where we fed over a hundred of Chandler's friends from both school and church.

Finally Leaving - 3/30/15

Well it's hard to believe it but the day has arrived. Tomorrow (April 1st) I will be entering the Missionary Training Center(MTC) in Provo Utah.  I was Originally supposed to be flying out to Sao Paulo Brazil, but my visa has still not arrived(which is pretty normal for Brazil), hopefully it will come in a few weeks.  I've basically spent my last three days packing and I can tell you that it is hard to pack two years of stuff into three bags, but it's done and at this point i'm just going to hope I didn't forget anything important.  I was walking through Target yesterday doing some last minute shopping and found myself drawn to the video game section knowing all too well that I won't be able to play any of them for along time.  
Last night I was set apart as a missionary by my Stake President which was amazing and only heightened my excitement to be a missionary.  
Wish me luck this next week as I'm sure I'll need it.  I love you all and can't wait to hear from you.
