Hey everyone, so I'm home... It's a little hard to believe. I'm doing this final post to officially wrap things up. So after final interviews with President and saying goodbye to a lot of friends that I won't see in a long time, I entered the airplane Friday night at 11:00pm to come home. It was a long 12 hours of travel and after the time change I arrived in the Hilton Head airport at 10:30 in the morning where, for the first time in two years, I saw my Family, and some friends from the ward. It was a weird feeling to see them after so long (and to see my sisters so tall!), but the feeling of being home was indescribable.
I loved the mission so much and encourage anyone that has the opportunity to take it. It has been two years that has changed me Immensely, that has helped me grow more than anything else I have ever done. It was two years that I was also able to help change the lives of many others.
I testify of missionary work and how important a work it is everywhere in the world. We are responsible for our spiritual siblings here on the earth, and we need to bring the truth to their ears. When they hear this truth they know it's different, and when they decide to ask God if it's true, he answers them. This work changes lives and we have to do it.
I testify that the Book of Mormon is the word of God along with the Bible and that today prophets receive modern revelation for all of us. I know that the Prophet who translated the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, was an actual prophet of God sent to restore the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness in these latter days. I testify of the atonement of Jesus Christ and that because of the suffering that Jesus Christ passed through and his death and his resurrection, we can follow in his footsteps and have salvation, giving us a hope that otherwise would be unimaginable.
I love this gospel and the work it contains. I look forward to the work that waits in my future and I know that he will protect and help me along the way if I do my part and let him.
I'm home guys, it's really crazy, but I am also anticipating an exciting new adventure.
Thanks for all the support for these two years, I really appreciate it.
